For me, Gary Mello is the example of what both a father and husband should strive to be. I can think of no better person to be the subject of my "Homage" image for Illustration Friday. Unfortunately, he's in the hospital right now fighting some pretty advanced kidney cancer.

24hr Comic Day

So 24hr comic day was Saturday and, despite swearing I'd never do it again after last year, I gave it another shot. I'm glad I reconsidered because I had an awesome time making some marathon comics with Danny, Paul, and our lovely hostesses Tiffany and Chandra.
